Peri-Piri Chicken. The best in Huddersfield. (Nandos)

Advantages: Reasonably priced for a family meal out.

Disadvantages: Most of the food is spicy.

We don't eat out much but when we do Nando's is always a favourite choice. The restaurant is very rustic inside and we are always greeted not long after entering and have never had to wait too long, they tell us if we will be waiting a long time. The first time we went to Nando's we sat and sat and sat being not sure what we were supposed to do and being even more confused bu the menu! But just before I went into major panic a young lady came over and took us through the menu telling us what the favourite's are and what to do after we had choosen. We were concerned that our daughter would find the options too spicy but the young waitress told us to ask for plain chicken, still a little spicy but ok for her. We decided on a platter with 2 sides, this comes with a full chicken cut into 4 pieces. We thought it was wonderful, we added extra sauces, at no extra charge, the rice was very tasty as was the colslaw. The daughter was happily tucking in too. I have never had a desert, too full, but my daughter had the frozen yogurt, she said it was ok. It normally costs us about £30 for 3 with a bottomless drink each. We also have a loyalty card on which you get a free piece of chicken after 3 visits or a whole chicken after 10 visits. So definitely worth a visit if you love chicken.
