Advantages: chicken

Disadvantages: desserts aren't recommended

If God had an eighth day, he would of made nandos.

Never mind though because a few thousand years later probably the best company in the world invented it and we can now enjoy succulent fried fresh chicken with a variety of sauces that can feed on your taste buds to your hearts desire.

Let me talk you through a typical Nando's experience: You walk in, get a seat, look at the menu, select your food, go to the till and pay for it, then sit down and wait for probably the best meal you're ever likely to have (times five!). Yes it's that good!

The menu consists of mainly chicken - whole/half/quartered chicken, chicken wings, chicket fillets (for wraps and burgers) but also salads and Steak Rolls. They also do a nice bean burger for vegetarians or simply people that like beans! The unique qualities that Nando's possesses are the sauces (so popular that they now sell them at supermarkets) you can have "mango and lime", "lemon and herb", medium, hot or extra hot. i personally have the 'hot' option. Not because I'm an alpha male showing off like the types who order a chicken vindaloo and suffer in silence the sweats and probable toilet inconvenience but because I find it the best flavour to have (another reason is that I've had so many that I've grown immune to the 'lessor' flavours!).

I have to write a down point though as I do with most reviews and that is I wouldn't recommend the desserts. If you're one of the few not to be filled up by the meal there is a range of desserts, however the ready made frozen delights are over priced for what they are. I once ordered a tiramisu and expected to sit back down and wait however they quickly put their hand in the fridge freezer and produced a ready made dessert already in the dish. It tasted average but knowing how quickly it was produced put me off the desserts in general. Stick with the chicken!!

Another brilliant idea they've come up with is the loyalty card. On your third visit of spending over £5.00ish you get a free quarter of a chicken, your sixth visit you get a half and your tenth....a whole chicken....free!!

Summary: if you like food, you'll LOVE nando's!
