At first I was the only one of my friends to know and love Nandos and now I am just one of billions of people who love nothing more than to over indulge in chicken in all its yummy glory!!

My first experience was several years ago for my at the time Boyfriends 17th birthday, we went as a big family group taking up one of those huge booths. I had no idea what to expect and was told to pick a spice level (I thought I was being brave and chose hot (something I have now learnt from as spending the entire meal with a runny nose is not one of my favourite experiences) then I chose a dish and the sides to go with it. A fairly basic concept which works well. After this I became addicted and now regularly go for my chicken fix! I can now real off my order without even thinking as I know it will never change, medium chicken breast pitta with a side of chips with peri peri spice and a tube of peranaise, washed down with a refillable diet coke. Perfect!

The appearance of all Nandos restaurants is very similar, obviously as it is a chain. It is generally dark wood furniture with lots of orange, yellows and neutral shades conbined with unusual ornaments which im presuming to be Porteguese

The menu consits of mainly chicken dishes such as 1/2 chicken, wings, chicken pitta, chicken burger but also has a steak sandwich and some veggie options. You can choose your spice level from a variety of options such as garlic and herb, hot extra hot etc. They have recently added a lot more options to the menu to which I am extremely grateful, try the hummous dip with pitta!!!!

The food is always delicious, depending on what you have it is probably a lot healthier than many other fast paced restaurants about. I have had one or two bad experiences but when compared to the amout of times I have dined here it would probably constitute less than 1% of bad experiences.

As you place your own order at the tills the service isnt as key in restaurants where a waiter takers your order, however you will still get someone asking you if the food is ok as soon as you place a big chunk in your mouth **seriously do they want to see your chewed up food??**

For 2 people the average price would probably be about £20 for a starter, 2 mains and 2 soft drinks, however this will all depend on how much you can eat, There is a loyalty card available, everytime you buy a meal you get a stamp and when you collectg enough you can redeem your free chicken delights, I think its 1/2 chicken for one and wings for so many stamps

I reccomend Nandos to all of my friends and as far as I know i have never met anyone who dislikes it. So im sure it ticks every box for a cheap, enjoyable and relaxed meal out....unless you dont like chicken of course!!

Summary: Perfect for a casual dining experience
