Advantages: A great place for lunch or dinner

Disadvantages: Well I wouldn't complain if the prices were lower but they're fair as they are

Nandos is an informal restaurant similar in a sense to pizza hut which basically just does chicken dishes. As it says in the description the chicken dishes are from Portugal and they are cooked in a sauce of your choice.

When you go into Nandos sometimes you have to wait to be seated but from my experience this is never a long time. You briefly sit down, decide what you want and then go and order yourself at the tills. This may sound like poor service and I guess that its not for everyone but I like the no fuss style of it.

In terms of what you can order, they actually manage a pretty decent variety of things and you get a good choice within each category. For example you can decide whether you want two chicken breasts (legs or whatever) or just one and then there is an option of pittas and burgers etc. You can also opt to get one or two sides with an order if you want (the chips aren't great but the garlic bread is fantastic).

Finally you can decide what sauce you want, this is basically an option between mild, hot, very hot and extra hot. This is cool because it means that it can suit everyone and even leaves a little space for competitiveness.

I normally order a refillable drink to go with this, and it tends to cost me between £8 and £10 which seems pretty decent to me. Worth going provided you like chicken.

Summary: A brilliant place worth eating at
