Advantages: great tasting food at brill prices

Disadvantages: dont go for the hottest sauce for the first time!

Nandos is a portuguese style chicken restaraunt. It is becoming ever more popular in the uk as many people have not heard of it. I came across it a few years ago when i went to a meal with my friends before going to the cinema. what can i say about it: its great!

The restaraunt:
Its set in a very warm and casual style enviroment with its heavy and firm wooden tables and furniture. The ambience reflects the colours of the place being very warm with orange and red colours, showing the portuguese/meditteranean feeling.

The food:
The main theme of food consists of flame grilled peri-peri chicken, served with a variety of peri-per sauces ranging form very hot to lemon and herb. And i must say that the hot sauce is extremely hot! Chips are often the side dish with your meal, these are very decent by being cooked very old style.

You can however not have to have the typical roast chicken but have burgers or salads. i do not too much about htese as i always go for the quite hot chicken.

You get the option of many drinks but i recommend the bottomless soft drink. this is at a very good prive at around 2 quid and you are able to top up your drink yourself at any point during the meal!

The service:
this is very freindly from my past times eating there, it is fast and always cooked to how you ordered it. You place your food at the till to allow waitresses/waitors to get on with bringing the food out which makes the service much more efficient.

Price:
the price is a very decent value as your average meal should not be above 20 quid. This would consist of a platter for four to share including the chicken and chips, then bottomless soft drinks all round. This is very cheap and a nice casual meal.


I would recommend nados to anyone who likes chicken as it is very good for a cheap, casual, entertaining evening meal.

Summary: cheap, casual and a nice envireoment.
