I love Nando's so much, my friend signed me up to the fan-club.

If you love spicy food and a 'holiday-like' atmosphere, you will love Nando's. I especially like the Camberwell one (which was a welcome break from halls of residence food).

Nando's (if I'm not mistaken)is short for the Portuguese surname 'Fernandes'. As the name suggests, it has a meditterean feel about it. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed with Latino/Portuguese music in the background. Having been to Portugal twice, I can guarantee that Nando's chicken tastes just like peri-peri chicken fresh from the from the stalls in Lisbon.

The Peri-Peri signifies that it is hot. Even if you are used to hot food, beware because what is classed as medium may start to make your eyes water! It is a good thing that the drinks are unlimited because they are well needed to cool down the palette. But don't let that put you off. The taste is out of the world and is well complimented with the crispy chips and green salad.

To get more into the Meditteranean feel, you can always wash down your food with a glass of Sangria (Red wine, lemonade and fruit pieces)and nibble on some olives.

The kids will have a great time too by serving themselves some frozen yogurt (which is really like ice-cream) from the DIY machine. There are also non-spicy versions of chicken burgers/chicken wings for the kids.

All in all, I can guarantee a great time for a reasonable price (about £6 including a soft drink). If you fancy a change from the regular Indian or Chinese, give it a go!
