Advantages: Great place for the family, Wont break the bank, Friendly staff
Disadvantages: Mostly self service
From the minute you walk into any nandos restaurant, you notice a difference. The atmosphere is live and vibrant and from first glance you can see this is a great place to bring the family!. The running of the resturant is quite informal. You choose your own table and are given a chiken cartoon on a stick with a number onit to place in the holder of your chosen table then go back to the counter and order your food. On your way back to your table, you fill up your own drinks, pick up your own sauces ( from the excellent range) and not forgeting to get your own plate/knives and forks too!. between the short time of ordering your food and waiting for it to arive at your table, you have a few minutes to glance around the place and really noticed the heavily portugese themed restaurant. The effor put into the interior is amazing with their wooden girders in the cieling to the barrels of beer,. you really shud see it for yourself! Everyone seems liek they are having a good time, even the menu states theirs no rules on using knives and forks and making as much noise as possible is a must! The food is brought to you to the table by a friendly member of staff There are a variety of "combine" meals to choose from all served with chips or spicy rice and coleslaw. Another thing not to miss out on are nandos selection of sauces which i pesonaly think played a key roll in nandos making their mark in the restaurant scene. There are plentiful ranges of sauces with differnt levels of spicyness so theres something for everyone. Its excellent food and you can see your food as it is being made in the open grill where you order your food. Not one to break the bank and delievers a great range of chiken recipies. I usualy have the Chiken in pita but theres something for every chiken lover out there! Vegetarian may not find this place to their taste as the variety on offer for veggies are quite l
imited but on personal opinion, the veggie in pita is quite tasty! Average price per head is around £6 including a re-fillable drink!

- 06/09/03 You almost tempted me but unfortunately the bad reviews are still outweighing the good! I'm going to hang on a little longer until someone reviews the Bristol one! |

- 05/09/03 Keep meaning to go to check it out, but I like to spend a bit more time over having a meal out. Maybe think of adding an average price per head to the review, but it was stil good. |
