*WHAT IS NANDOS?* Nandos is a chain of restaurants which focus on chicken dishes. Their speciality is their 'peri peri chicken' which is explained below. The overall cuisine of the restaurant is rooted in traditional portuguese dishes, although there is a little something for every palate here! *WHAT IS PIRI-PIRI ... Read the complete review

If you are looking for a meal for under £10 and you like chcken then you should consider Nando as an option. I have noticed that they have spread out now and are no longer just a London based food outlet, they are certainly more up market than Kentucky Fried Chicken but still quite affordable and while I would not describe them as fast food I do ... If you like chicken, you will love Nandos. Chicken is the staple indgredient at all of the nando branches, with 'Piri Piri Chicken' being the speciality. This dish dates back centuries to when the Portugese travelled to areas of africa (angola, mozambique) and began to colonise there. After meeting with the locals the portugese men soon learnt of ... Unfortunately there isn't a Nando's in Stoke on Trent or I would be there every week to endulge in their chicken, however I was introduced to Nando's at the start of the year and I must admit that I have been there once a month this year to various restaurants across the country including Derby, Manchester, Birmingham, Southport, Sheffield and ... Ever since I first read about Nando's, I'd been dying to try them out. Unfortunately, my nearest outlet was not close enough to make a visit all that practical. I was therefore delighted to learn that Nando's were opening a unit at my local out of town cinema/restaurant complex. Although I didn't quite make the opening night, I managed to get ... Nando’s is a chain of Portuguese chicken restaurants, with many in towns and cities across the UK. Their theme is that they love chickens, and many chicken logos are visible in the restaurant. They are famous for their peri peri sauce, which is from South American Portuguese states, and comes in various forms of chilli. On entering any ... Read the complete review

The review by nwmadden hit the nail right on the head. I like to eat and i like to think i have experianced enough varieties of food to be able to spot the good and not so good. I accept that one persons tastes may differ from anothers, so il just think of the facts when i write my reveiw. I wondered what the Nandos hype was all about ... Read the complete review

Nando's is a Portuguese themed restaurant chain that specialises in good-quality, well-cooked chicken, and is well known for it's famous Peri-Peri sauce. There are branches all over the UK, and new ones are regularly being opened. Right now there are restaurants due to open in 2 months in Fife, Colliers Wood and Walton-on-Thames, with other ... Have to say I agree with most of the other reviewers here. Very tasty food, great atmosphere and good price. But don't compare Nandos (as some have) to other typical restaurants - it tries to be affordable as well as enjoyable - so there are savings on service (order at bar, get your own cutlery) and the chicken or .... chicken menu ... I had always noted that the Nando's chain had received favourable reviews in the trusted Time Out guide to eating in London, so had been waiting for an opportunity to try one. Nando's specialises in piri piri chicken, a Portuguese dish which essentially means Chicken that has been marinaded in hot piri piri sauce. My experiences of piri ... Read the complete review

Finding somewhere really good to eat out can be a real nightmare. Eating out is generally over-priced and lacks that sparkle that makes you walk away from a restaurant with a really contented look on your face. The other important factor, of course, is the occasion. If you are out with lots of friends from work, you will want somewhere very ... Read the complete review

Nandos has entered the highly competitive Brighton restaurant scene fairly recently and offers something a little different from the hundreds of other Brighton restaurants. However, as a regular visitor to Portugal I found it to be not very Portuguese. Apart from Piri Piri chicken (and mine was very good) and some wine there was little to remind ... Up until recently I had never been to a Nandos restaurant despite living about 15 minutes away from one for the last 12 months. So when my girlfriend suggested it for lunch one day it sounded like a great idea. The one we went to was the one on Bugsby Way Retail Park in Charlton. As it was a weekday lunchtime when we went we found that ... Read the complete review

From the minute you walk into any nandos restaurant, you notice a difference. The atmosphere is live and vibrant and from first glance you can see this is a great place to bring the family!. The running of the resturant is quite informal. You choose your own table and are given a chiken cartoon on a stick with a number onit to place in ... Read the complete review

Eeeeek! I never envisioned writing restaurant reviews on here, but I just have to write up my opinion of Nando's chicken restaurant, because it seems *so* different to all the reviews wrote so far. Let me just say that I'm definitely not a food snob (honestly!), but I love food. I like to eat out a lot, I love trying ... Read the complete review

Nandos is absolutely peri-fect!! (you'll understand if you've been there). If you love flavoured chicken and don't mind getting messy, then you'll love nandos. The restaurant is basically self service. You are seen to a table, browse the menu and then make your way up to the cash desk to place your order. You help ... Read the complete review

It was my friend's birthday last week and we all decided to go out for a meal, about four of us. There are so many locations where Nando's can be found. There are restaurants all over England - in The North, Midlands, South and Greater London. In the North, the main restaurants are in Leeds, Manchester and Cheshire Oaks. In the Midlands ... ...Can I just make it clear that when I say 'chicken lovers' in the title above I mean of course those who are partial to the cooked flesh of the bird rather than those that actually take chickens as LOVERS, who I'm aware do exist but are perverts of the highest order and will be sorely disappointed with the following review...! ... I love Nando's so much, my friend signed me up to the fan-club. If you love spicy food and a 'holiday-like' atmosphere, you will love Nando's.
