This is a great American style Wild West themed restraunt which serves American style food. It is my favourite place to take my son who is 5 year's old. They have lovely large roomy tables to sit at and when you get your table the first thing they give you is a large bowl of complimentary popcorn which is placed in the middle of the table. If you have children with you they also get a goody bag. Then they place on the table a glass with crayons in. There is a paper tablecloth over your table and you can scribble over it with the crayons provided which is excellent especially if you have children and it takes the boredom out of waiting for their ... Old Orleans, Valley Centretainment, Sheffield I've eaten at Old Orleans very recently and I loved it. I'll be going back again soon I hope. We originally planned to eat at another restaurant in the same complex but they refused to book us in advance and said a 20 - 30 minute waiting time would be likely. Not with toddlers thanks, so we went back out to try elsewhere. Old Orleans had a sign outside advertising free kids meals, all day every day. That was tempting so we went in, they accommodated us immediately with courtesy and gave the kids balloons, activity bags and high chairs which they loved. We were very quickly served drinks and given plenty of ... Read the complete review

To say my Fiance and I don't get out much is understatement of the year! We decided it was time we made more of an effort to get out and spend some quality time together wining and dining as it were and so for a change we opted to go to Old Orleans in Sunderland. We had never been here before so it was a bit exciting to go somewhere new for a change. The restaurant itself is nice and easy to find - no driving around in circles for hours sniping at each other, which obviously means that you can arrive still in good spirits and ready to enjoy your evening rather than sitting glaring at each other over the table adamant that the wrong turn was ... Old Orleans is a chain of American food restaurants. I've been to the Cambridge one twice. Both times were not my choice because I have been a vegetarian since I was 8 years old and it's a very meat-orientated place. But a large group of us went so I had no choice. The first time I thought that the food was quite poor. It was like standard food that you'd get in any pub, but cost over twice as much. You could tell that most of the food was cooked from frozen and was nothing special at all. The second time I went I ordered the vegetarian nachos and I ate half of it before they informed me they had made a mistake and my meal actually contained ... Read the complete review

Old Orleans is actually a chain; I've been to the London one, the Cambridge one and the Bath one. I only went once voluntarily; both other times it was with parties of friends. I love TexMex food. Chili's in Cambridge is one of my favourite places to eat, so I was hoping for good things from Old Orleans. The cocktails are OK, I suppose. They're pricey, and the selection's not great; no big Margaritas, for example; only the Presidente size. When you arrive, there's freshly popped corn on the table. A nice touch. What bothers me about the place is the short cuts. The starters (onion rings, jalapeno poppers, that sort of ... Read the complete review
