Pacific ChinaNewest Review: ... 228 6668). Ventures like the Food Club are an indication of the ethos of the restaurant - the staff want you to enjoy your food. Having visited many Chinese restaurants in Manchester, I can confidently say that Pacific is certainly one of the best two - if not the very best. It's a close run thing between the Yang Sing and The Pacific? and I really couldn't choose between them. So let's just say that both restaurants are excellent, and very well worth a visit. Pacific is a restaurant with a difference, though. It has two separate restaurants, each with a separate team of chefs: one called China, and one called Thailand, on the floor above China. If you are buffet lover, try this restaurant... the Thai buffet at 6.50 pounds perhead. Eat as much as you can. Hot dishes include chicken, duck, ribs, pork, and veg. On different day, there are different special dishes. Also, there are soup, dessert, fruits and salads. Unfortunately, you will ahve to pay for the drinks. In most restaurants which offer buffet, they serve chinese tea for free. however, you will have to pay for this restaurant. Give it a try and i think it worth the 6.50 pounds especially when you are a big-eater ...*grin* ... Read the complete review
