Serving sort of franglais food (pasta, fishcakes, chicken) food, it's a pleasant atmosphere, good service and a reasonable choice of tasty food for a good price. It's been in Covent Garden for a number of years now, and is usually pretty busy, but booking isn't normally necessary. I'd recommend the salmon fishcakes and fries, and a decent bottle of wine ... more  ... can be had without breaking the bank. If you're wandering around Covent Garden with your parents looking for a nice, not too expensive meal, you could do a lot worse than Palms. Serving sort of franglais food (pasta, fishcakes, chicken) food, it's a pleasant atmosphere, good service and a reasonable choice of tasty food for a good price. It's been in Covent Garden for a number of years now, and is usually pretty busy, but booking isn't normally necessary.
