Newest Review: ... out but doesn't give much away. I first discovered this place about 6 months ago when we were looking for somewhere to eat a little later than usual and the pubs had stopped serving food. We had a look in the window as we walked by and it looked so inviting, we went in despite both not really being in the mood for a curry originally. The Restauaant has Indian music playing but not in a ... more  ... loud tacky way like it sometimes feels and low level lighting making the place quite romantic. The booths are very private rather than open tables so you get a feel of being in a popular busy place while also feeling quite alone which is wonderful.

The Panama Restaurant is a lovely little Indian Restaurant on Whitchurch Road in Heath, Cardiff. It's a little way out of the centre (only about 10 mins) and is close to the hospital and residential areas of Heath. Whitchurch Road is a popular place for Chinese and Indian cuisine but this restauarnt stands out above the others to me. From the outside, you would be forgiven for not knowing that it was an Indian Restauarant. Panama isn't your typical Indian Restaurant name and it's big white name on a green banner make it stand out but doesn't give much away.
