There are Philpotts sandwich shops in Chester, Brimingham, Bristol, Chester, Edinburgh, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham, Sheffield and Shrewsbury, so it's a relatively small chain. The primary clientele for this shop is office workers, it is obviously geared up to meet the average office person's needs because they provide a sophisticated product, quickly and the stores are only open during weekdays and they closes at 3pm when the lunchtime crowds have settled. As I live in Shropshire, I go to Shrewsbury quite often. If I do, I always like to have an excuse to have lunch there, but don't like to spend too much. If I haven't organised myself to bring my own, then I console myself with the thought that Philpott's Sandwich Shop is there. Philpotts Limited is based in Chester and has sandwich shops in Brimingham (4), Bristol (3), Chester, Edinburgh, Leeds (2), Liverpool (2), Manchester (5), Nottingham, Sheffield and Shrewsbury. I only know about the one in Shrewsbury but am confident that all the others will be just as good.
