Advantages: Lovely tasty food, consistent across restaurants

Disadvantages: Pricey for the portions

I really like Pizza Express. I always get the bruschetta for starters and then the mushroom pizza or lasagne as a main course. The bruschetta is amazing. It is brushed with garlic and then topped with pesto, tomatoes and red onions. I wouldn't be able to go into Pizza Express without ordering this as it is divine.

The mushroom pizza is really tasty and I always order extra rocket to go with it. It is plenty for me but if you were only having that and no starter you might still be hungry. The lasagne is also tasty but it is a small portion and is nicer with a salad.

Sometimes the menu variety feels a bit restricted but as I am a creature of habit it doesn't bother me. There are also a good selection of wine and desserts. I have been to a lot of Pizza Express chains including in Spain and Ireland (under a different name). The food has always been consistent and the staff very pleasant too. The prices vary widely from country to country though!
