A great chain of restaurants that always maintain high standards (Pizza Express)
Member Name: emmi2009
Advantages: Very flexible and cater for anyone Disadvantages: Sometimes as they are so popular you may have to wait for a table Pizza Express has something for everyone i believe. It's the perfect place to go on a first date, with your children, a quick business lunch, a romantic meal, a birthday party - whatever your age, background or reason Pizza Express will accommodate. I've been going to Pizza Express for over ten years now and i don't think i've ever had a bad meal or service. There are so many nationwide and i've visited quite a few of them. Typically the restaurants are always clean and well maintained and the staff always offer friendly and efficient service. I like the fact that in most of the restaurants you can also watch the food being prepared in the kitchens - not only is this quite exciting to watch - especilly for younger visitors watching them making pizza bases but it's also reassuring when it comes to the hygiene of the place. Along with this they regularly have offers on the money saving expert website and in local press too. The menu changes regularly but is always varied and if you want to adjust a pizza or salad by adding something or replacing something you don't like with something else they are more than happy to do this. Their starters are quite substantial so you might not need one unless you are very hungry. My favourites are the dough balls and bruschetta con funghi and i recently went on bank holiday monday with my sister and we shared the antipasto platter which was delicious! Their pizzas are the best i have ever had and i usually have a quattro formaggi and add ham and chicken or if i'm not feeling like meat i have the giardiniera without artichokes. Mainly i go for a salad and i love them all - my favourite is probably the nostrana or nicoise but i love the pollo salad which has been on the menu for years and their caesar salad dressing on the caesar salad is fab too! The bosco salad is great for a light lunch! The desserts are also delicious especially the banoffee pie. Even better is that you can take pretty much all the items away if you fancy a cosy night in! Summary: A great place for any occasion no matter who you are |
