We have a Pizza Express restuarant near us so we have visited several times.

I must admit that ours is fairly spacious and is on one ground floor. On Saturdays you usually have to book a table but we have been mid week and just turned up and they can usually accommodate us. I find the staff really friendly and they don't hassle you to leave either..The service can actually be a little slow at times but sometimes this is welcome in between the courses!

You usually find the tables are made of something similar to marble so they aren't like your pizza hut... it comes across as a bit more aloof than that... it is still child friendly though as they have colouring packs for the children to amuse themselves which is excellent when you have two nieces in tow!

The menu could probably accommodate most tastes.. it is italian though so it has the usual olives as an intro if you want. Starters are usually brushetta, dough balls as well as calamari. The mains range from salads to pizza to pasta dishes. My favourite is the Bosco salad and I have it every single time I visit.... the honey and mustard dressing is to die for and in fact you can buy the pizza express dressing in supermarkets so needless to say I have a bottle in my fridge on a regular basis..! The desserts are fairly typical with profiteroles, tiramisu and ice cream to name a few.

Prices for starters and desserts range from £3.00 - £5.00. The mains range from £8.00 - £11.00.

However there are deals to be done and I suggest that you check out the website or www.vouchercodes.co.uk as they do deals where you buy one meal and get another for £1.00 or they do a set menu (of sorts as you can still chose but the selection is limited) for a fixed price which is really cheap... they did one recently where you got a glass of wine or bottle of beer, a starter and a main for £10.00...
