Great Pizza, Not Enough Staff. (Pizza Hut)

Disadvantages: Sometimes you have to wait a long time!

If you didn't already know, 'Pizza Hut' is a chain of restaurants specialising in... yes, you've guessed it... Pizza. There are over 34,000 Pizza Hut restaurants worldwide, which are spread out over 100 countries.

Recently, Pizza Hut has changed it's advertising emphasis to suggest that it's also a great place to get pasta - probably in order to appear more healthy in todays obese society. To be honest though, I think most customers go there to eat the dish which the franchise is most famed for.

Each restaraunt generally looks the same inside, with a red sub-theme reflected in the colours of the walls, tables and in the napkins. The seating isn't the most comfortable - but it isn't awful, and there is usually a bit of artwork adorning the walls.

In terms of the food quality, I generally like the Pizza's which Pizza Hut serve - especially the Pepperoni and Hawaiian varieties. I used to always opt for the 'Stuffed Crust' base, but the last few times I have had it, it has been overly greasy and a bit too doughy. Therefore, I will now often have the 'Pan' or 'Italian' base.

The lunch time eat-as-much-as-you-like buffet represents good value for money at £6.99 - although I have had a bad experience with that in the past. Once, whilst myself and a few others were waiting in the que to serve ourselves, the rather large guy at the front piled around fifteen slices of Pizza onto his plate, leaving everyone else waiting for the next batch to be brought from the kitchen.

I have generally always found the staff at Pizza Hut to be friendly, although there never seems to be enough of them! By the time you get your food in my local restaurant, the person serving will always be rather sweaty from all the running around they have been doing, serving ten tables at once - not the most pleasant sight! - although it's not their fault, I just think the franchise as a whole need to hire more staff.

Eight out of ten times Pizza Hut makes for a good dining experience - however, when things go wrong, it can be a bit of a nightmare.
