Great service, good price, lovely food (Pizza Hut)

Advantages: Good price, service, fun as different from our usual family meals out

Disadvantages: Was going to say none, but squeezing into my jeans this morning is one!

A family celebrations get together was in order last weekend and the venue was up to the children as the celebrations were in aid of one of them and they decided upon Pizza Hut.

I wanted to book the table as my local hut is next to a cinema in a busy shopping centre and I have often seen queues outside of a weekend, and for a party of 13 I did not want to chance getting a table at the last minute.

I was pleased when looking for the phone number on the website as I noticed a 50% off food bill email voucher! I called to book the table and was told that I could use the voucher no problems but would need to bring two as it only allowed for parties of up to 10 people.

When we arrived we were shown straight to a table that was set up for the party of 13 and 2 high chairs were ready and waiting also. I explained that we had the 50% off vouchers and we wanted to pay separately and he was very friendly and assured us it was not a problem.

When we ordered the drinks were brought over fairly quickly and then the salad bowls just a few minutes before the main meals so we had time to get something from the salad bar first. All the meals came out quickly and the waiter seemed to remember who had ordered what as he went to the correct end of the table each time he brought something out.

The waiter returned a few times to ask if anyone wanted drinks, pepper or dips and to check all was ok with the meals. When we had finished the kids opted for some ice cream and had a wonderful time creating their deserts - heading back a few times for some more chocolate raisins for me!

The bills were brought out as promised in four separate bills and it came to under £65 for all 13 of us. So can safely say it was the cheapest family Sunday meal I can remember!

I will definitely return to this Pizza Hut again as the service and the food were outstanding and everyone from ages 1 to 62 enjoyed themselves!
