Half price pizza! (Pizza Hut)

Advantages: Bargain food and drink! Great service and prices.

Disadvantages: None as of yet....I intend to go back to double check (and sample their profiteroles next time too!!

My husband and I went to Pizza Hut recently. Neither of us had been for quite some time, however, we thought we would give it a try. I had a 50% off voucher and thought not only would we save a little money without needing to go to some greasy fast food place there would be no washing up! bonus. So off we went to our local Pizza Hut and what a treat it was.

The last time I went must be about 5 years ago. Being a fussy eater all I would eat was the basic cheese and tomato pizza, something that you could get from the freezer at your local supermarket. However, on browsing through the menu I was pleasantly suprised. For starters my husband and I had a huge 'combo' to share. The plate was filled with lots of little tasty delights such as chicken wings, garlic bread, potato wedges. Then to follow we had a 'half and half' pizza- we chose two our favourite toppings from the menu on the one pizza. It was a very difficult choice as the new pasta dishes had caught my eye on the menu, however the pizza was in the end the winner. It was cooked to perfection with a real mix of ingredients and flavours.

For dessert my husband and I had the chocolate fudge cake with pouring cake. May I just add...wow!!! Talk about a chocoholics dream! It was beautiful! By this time I was stuffed. I thought we would be rushed out once we had finished our meal, however, the waiting on staff were fantastic and left us to digest for a while before asking whether we wanted the bill. Our food was washed down by a refillable coke.

I showed the waitress out 50% off voucher- this entitled us to half price on all the food. All we had to do was to pay full price on the drinks. So a fantastic meal and offer I thought!

It was a real pleasant suprise- Pizza Hut has certainly moved forward and caters now for even the fussiest of eaters....and any chocoholics like myself!

Since going to Pizza Hut last week I have now signed up to the mailing list through their website. I will be definately keeping upto date with any of the latest offers.

In the end my husband and I both had a 3 course meal and drinks for just under £20...not many restaurants can give you that these days! Bargain!!
