Advantages: Good deals available

Disadvantages: Buffet cart not always topped up

Pizza Hut - A well known name in the resturant industry with places in over 100 countries worldwide. However on a personal level I have to say its one of the less frequented establishments on my eating out list! Why? I think its because I always thought it was a little pricey for what you got and therefore I tended to shy away, that and the fact pizza isnt my favourite treat!

Imagine then when my husband offered to treat me to lunch in town and he suggested Pizza Hut, I was a little disappointed but I had to eat my words after sampling the delicious things they had on offer!

There was everything on offer from bog standard cheese and tomato to more speciality pizzas and all of them were available in varying sizes depending on your appetite. As well as this they do also have some pasta dishes on offer so theres definitely something for everyone.

However I think the 2 things Pizza Hut are well known for are the salad bar and the ice cream factory! I was a little disappointed with the sald bar as it was coming to the end of lunch and quite a few things did need topping up, however I think if you went a little earlier there was good choice available either as a main course or side dish.
The ice cream factory however was great with unlimited trips! Ice cream and sweets, what more can you ask for!
Other good points are the free refills on soft drinks.

There was a new tuscani range which is based on typical italian delights, thin crust pizzas, lovely salads and tiramisu desserts. They were an average price with the offer of a free visit to the salad bar if you ordered from this range.
Also at lunchtime there is a buffet experience which you can choose from either just pizza or pizza and pasta (I think the pizza only one is £5 and the 2 is £7 - dont quote me on that though!)

The best offer I personally feel theyve got going at the moment though is happy hour which runs Monday to Friday 2-6pm and is an individual pizza, pasta or salad with 2 slices of garlic bread and a soft drink. This is £4 for 1 person, £7.50 for 2 or £14 for 4! Bargain! The choice is limited but there is about 2/3 varietied to pick in each section and the portions arent stingy. I was absolutely stuffed and even my husband, who has a very healthy appetite, was full aswell! I would highly recommend going to try this offer!

In conclusion I was pleasantly suprised with the offers available and had a delicious feast for a very reasonable price!

Summary: Not as expensive as once thought because of the good offers

Last time I went to P. Hut, a fat lady went off on one at another lady for taking too much pizza from the buffet! She was then thrown out...hilarious!
