Enjoyable lard (Pizza Hut)

Advantages: The tomato pizza sauce!

Disadvantages: The garlic is hardly ever done right

I have a soft spot for Pizza Hut.

Yes, their food is heavy and lardy, but it is also very enjoyable....mainly because I really like the tomato sauce they put on the pizzas.

Pizza Hut seems to divide opinion somewhat. Yet, I think it is always reliable. Sometimes in the restaurants service has been a bit bad, but I usually get take away delivered. Frankly the best time to go into the restaurants is when there is a buffet deal on. For less than the price of a medium pizza you can each twice as much, with pasta and salad on top. Yeah the pasta isn't the greatest but one can't complain when only paying £6 to £7.

The only thing I find dissapointing in Pizza Hut is the garlic bread. For some reason their staff never seem to be able to get in right. They either cook the hell out of it until it is ribbery, or burn it on top...or sometimes undercook it so that it comes out soggy. I can count the times on my left hand that it came out right.

Anyhow, Garlic bread aside, chalk me up as a fan.

Summary: Worth it for some quick junk food
