Advantages: A great environment for everyone, kids, business meals and adult groups

Disadvantages: Tiniest bit overpriced but you barely notice it if you enjoy yourself

Pizza Hut is a chain of stores. Sometimes confused for a fast food provider like McDonalds or KFC. In actual fact you walk into the restaurant and you will be seated by a member off staff, they will then (from all of my experiences) ask you what drink you would like. After noting this down, sometimes they will ask you if you already know what you want to eat. This is the thing I like as opposed to other restaurants because they leave you after they have brought you your drinks and seem to think you need 40 minutes to choose what food you want. The Pizza Hut staff are very efficient with this process, between drinks and food ordering you are waiting about ten minutes. Five minutes to choose and an extra five to change your mind! You decide what food you want and on average (to my experience) I have waited between 20-45 minutes for what ever we have ordered. Out of my many visits I go with my boyfriend and sometimes friends. Out of these visits I have only ever been once with my family. Most of the time it is me and my boyfriend. We order a large stuffed crust (or cheesy bites) margherita pizza, sometimes it is half and half. On the odd occasion we will have a side and most of the time a dessert.

*The food*
The food is very good, I cannot fault it. I have never unexpectedly found a hair on my pizza or anything. The pizza is always piping hot and so are the sides. The salads are always fresh and crispy. The pasta has always been well cooked with just the right amount of dressings.

*Speed of Service*
As before, amazing. There are no unnecessary waiting times between ordering of drinks and food. Standard time for one/two pizzas (any size) and one or two sides is about 30-45 minutes which I think is reasonable when making a pizzas from scratch.

*The pricing*
It could be a couple of pennies cheaper as you feel you have to tip a lot because the staff are just so amazing. Though it is worth the money. You need to set aside however much you would pay for a meal out in a 3 star restaurant to eat at Pizza Hut. There are meal deals but for families the price is bumped up by desserts etc and the fact that everyone probably wants different. Soft drinks are bottomless which I love. At pubs a glass of coke is between £1.20-£1.50 a shot where as you pay one fee which is slightly more than what you would pay at a pub. I cannot give you an actual price but the price £2.10 seems to ring a bell but don't quote me on that. I love the bottomless thing because I do not drink, at all, ever. So everywhere we go it makes meals dramatically cheaper. You would have to order two drinks to make the price worth while which will not be hard with kids around.
The ice cream factory is also bottomless but you will be lucky if you can get through two dishes! So this is worthwhile for the money. The stuffed crust pizza we usually order is around £13. We would order a medium but stuffed crust is only available with large pizzas. This is not usually a problem as you can box what you don't eat. I cannot eat cold or reheated pizza but my boyfriend has no problem whatsoever!

*Staff*
All of the are lovely people. I have been to pizza huts all over. My home town in Sheffield, Nottingham where my boyfriend went to university and in Teesside where I will be living for the next year and a half or so and the staff are always making conversation. I would never treat a waitress/waiter as if they were below me. They have to earn their money just like everyone else. A company director gets respect and so should someone who is waiting on hand and foot for you and getting paid peanuts. Some people would get prissy about waiting staff making conversation with them, it happens more often than you think. I consider the staff to have guts as I wouldn't be able to talk to complete strangers like that. They are very nice to you and make conversation with you. Once my boyfriend refused to tip one of the male staff because he spoke to me more than him (though I don't reckon so) and complimented me on my tattoo. I still find it hilarious, he is not even the jealous type.

Summary: My first choice for restaurant pizza, great food and a great time.
