Advantages: Common place, can be good value, satisfying.

Disadvantages: Busy at peak times

Pizza hut is a pretty common high street eating venue today. As far back as I remember since pizzas became the rage, the chain has maintained consistent standards regarding quality. Some branches are smaller than others, and at peak eating times, they can get pretty busy and crowded, indeed it seems not unusual to see queues outside the door occasionally. Pizzas are not the quickest things to prepare and cook fresh and they do a pretty good job, considering.
As with all eating houses one has to be careful with price so look very carefully for the special ‘meal deals’- they are particularly good value here. The concept of refillable ‘bottomless’ drinks (or even ice cream) is great, as you need to wash down all that pizza as best you can, since helpings of this are generous enough.
There have been a few minor changes to pizza hut over the years. I have noticed a political change to billing (you now have to ask or wait for your chitty), and the desert menu has fluctuated. Ice cream aside, there seems little choice for afters, but I seem to remember apple pies and puddings once upon a time…
If you’ve ever been to Italy and had real pizza, you’ll discover it’s nowhere near as good as what we have here!
Keep up the good work pizza hut, but I think there is still some room for improvement, just don’t change too much!
Now if I were in charge I’d improve the dessert menu, emphasise the meal deals, speed up the billing (maybe with technology), and reward that staff for doing a darn good job (there must be money in the bank by now)!
