myself and three other guests visited this restaurant very recently and was quite pleased with first impressions, food was excellent but felt that the staff wanted you in and out in a quick a time as possible as there was only a short space of time between first and second course.

We only had a choice of bottled drinks as the pumps were out of action, so opted for a bottle of house wine and soft drink.

Restaurant was very nicely set out but felt was missing something for the windows as it felt quite bare and cold without anything.

As i mentioned earlier food was excellent, but we found in one of the puddings we had there was a large piece of grit, we complained and they could not apologise enough but never offered to let us have the dessert on the house, just as well a child did not have that portion.

We received the bill at the end which we checked only to find that they had charged us twice for the wine and the soft drink, after they apologised again and altered the bill we found the prices to be reasonable.

I feel that due to the above circumstances, we shall not be visiting again
although i would say that the food is excellent and all praise to the chefs.

Summary: Food and surroundings very good but felt they dealt with the complaints wrongly .
