What a great way of life we have in UK! A sandwich at your desk, and this is what they call lunch! Surely not what I was used to when I was working in Spain!

But anyway. This is life. If it needs to be a sandwich, then let it be a good one!

They do not come cheap and may be I should prepare my own in the morning, but I am starting very early, and those 5 extra minutes in bed are priceless.

Pret a manger is a solution. They offer rich sandwiches for 2.99 I normally take the one with chicken. I said they are rich, in fact they are a bit too rich for me. Too much dressing. When eating at my table, I need to make sure that nothing drops on my clothes.

I also like their croissants in the morning, particularly the chocolate one. But I always watch for calories, so this is meant to be a rare treat for me.

Service at prêt a manger is pretty fast, no waiting time, which is good.

Summary: I have my sandwich from Pret
