Advantages: Fresh ingredients

Disadvantages: Pricey

I must admit I have avoided Pret in recent months due to the credit crunch as they are still expensive and don't seem to want to put forth any offers.

Still, price aside, I think that Pret are tremendously reliable as a sandwich shop. I have often enjoyed their various bagettes and sandwichs and I have never been disssapointed. The food is always fresh and enjoyable, although their bagettes do seem to go soft awfully quickly. I particularly like the New York deli bagette and the Tuna Mayo.

Their other foods are also very good. Their flavoured waters are very enjoyable and I would suggest Pomegranete Power. They chocolate bars, cakes and cheesecakes are also very good, but I have to say that the sweet stuff tends to come in very small portions but sells for a price that is comparably very expensive.

Still, if you are a bit flush with cash and want a decent lunch then you can do not wrong but go for Pret.

Summary: Worth going to if you have spare cash and a want a decent lunch.
