Advantages: Tasty and doesn't cost too much!
Disadvantages: Service can be very quick.
I have been a fan of the Prezzo chain since it opened as it seems one of the nicest of all the Italian chains about, and boy are there a lot.
Prezzo is actually part of the chain that runs zizi's, yet they have managed to keep it different enough so that it doesn't get boring, yet kept all the same things that make the two of them great.
Maidstone Prezzo, like all Prezzo's I have been to, is set in a beautiful building with character. It has exposed modern beams which give it a lovely cottagey feel. The restaurant is spacious and light and airey, yet there are enough corners to hide in if you want a nice quiet undisturbed meal.
Prezzos tables come in twos, so they can literally build a table to any size you want, although if you have a big group a deposit may be needed first. The restaurant is decorated with beautiful candles to give a great ambiance.
The menu tries to cater for a wide variety of tastes, even though it is Italian, by providing things that Zizi and Ask (I'd guess the main competition) miss out on. Burgers and fries are included in the menu! Do not worry though the classics that you would expect from the menu are not missed out on. The usual wide variety of Pizza, Pasta, Calzone and salad are all included. The menu is very broad and includes a lot of dishes in each genre. There is something for everyone!
Service wise, I have never had a bad experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and are happy to modify dishes to your taste / particular needs. I would personally recommend the mozella cariosa starter, its very delicious!!
Summary: Something for everyone, with a price for everyone.
