Advantages: eat all you like good price

Disadvantages: tables to close together

Red hot

Red Hot World Buffet and Bar is in six fields Northampton. Surrounded by lots of bars, restaurants, the towns football ground, cinema, bowling and a gym.
It is about 15 minutes drive from the centre of town and you can get a bus there.

The idea of red hot is that there are foods from all around the world, India, china, Thailand, Japan, Mexico and Italy. The food is buffet style so is all laid out and you just go and help your self to as much as you like as many times as you like (that's my favourite part of the restaurant)

A buffet lunch will set you back £6.95 with 20% of for over 50's and 11.95 in the evening apart fro Friday and Saturday where it £13.95 each. The drinks you have to pay for on top of these prices I have only ever drunk coke in red hot so I am not sure about the prices of alcoholic drinks.

The big down fall to the restaurant is the lay out the tables are far to close together (this is to get more in as they are always busy) we had a table of two with another table of two next to us and we might as well of been sitting on the same table so not the best for a romantic meal. the music in the restaurant is very loud but this does help the people on next table not listening to what you are talking about.

The food is well laid out and keep topped up and very clean, loved the range of food and found it to be high quality. The staff where very help full, every time I went for more food my dirty plate had been removed before I got back the only problem I found was that it was best not to leave you knife and fork on ur dirty plate as the staff would take them then you would have to find a member of staff to ask for a new one as the knifes and forks are not free to help your self to like the plates are

Overall I was very happy with my meal at red hot and I have been back many times as it works fab for and my husband who both like different styles of food.

My one tip would be to book a table so you are not left waiting

Summary: if you liek to try new foods and lots of it this is the place for you
