We (5 adults and 1 child) called in The Red Lion on Sunday. The roadside poster displayed 'Sunday Lunch 12pm onwards', we arrived at 1.30pm to be told they could just 'squeeze us in'. There was only a small piece of beef left for one of us so the rest of us had to have the pork. There was no stuffing or cauliflower left only carrots and cabbage. The plates and the food were warm and the roast potatoes were soggy. We had a five yr old with us and thought £5.95 it a bit steep for a small childs portion. We did question why we paid full price when there was very little food left but were not given a discount. We will not be returning.
