      Very helpful

The Stagg is a pub cum restaurant that is situated in the village of Titley, around 4 miles from Kington, on the Herefordshire / Wales border. There are a number of plus points that have given this restaurant a special place in my affections: 1- I had my wedding reception there on 27th October 1999 2- The food is spectacular. The owners use only locally produced ingredients, from Herefordshire Beef to locally grown carrots. Whatever you order, be it from the bar menu or the full a la carte experience, it will taste superb. So far I have eaten beef, lamb and venison there and it was amazing. The vegetarian food is also very good. My wife's bridesmaid is veggie and was very complimentary about it. 3- The Stagg is the only pub in the country to have won a Michelin star for its food. The food is simply that good. Everything is prepared with care and a great deal of attention, and they don't try to do things they can't, not that there are many of those. You will have to book in advance if you want to eat there. The pub is getting a wide-ranging reputation throughout the border country of England and Wales. You can find the village and the pub on the Presteigne to Kington Road. The prices are also very reasonable- they don't seem to have let success go to their heads.
