I live and work in Drumnadrochit,a village famous because it is next to Loch Ness(I think we all know who supposedly lives in there!) Drumnadrochit has several restaurants but my particular favourite is Fiddlers Restaurant, situated by the Green in main street Drumnadrochit. Fiddlers is a family run business, and not only can you eat there, but stay in Fiddler's Rest(a Bed and Breakfast) or hire a mountain bike for the day. Fiddlers has seating both in and out of doors, and has a friendly comfortable atmosphere. The inside of the restaurant is decorated with interesing and unusual pieces of art work and is not too crowded. The menu is very extensive and caters for the whole family, with new special dishes every day.During week days fresh baguettes are served, alongside the usual menu.On Sunday's a special roast is included on the menu. The food is always fresh and well made with lots of fresh vegetables or salad. There is a range of delicious desserts too.Prices are very good, especially as the food is such high quality.A children's menu is always available, and the restaurant is fully licensed. Service at Fiddlers is very friendly, with staff always willing to help out.The restaurant is open all day for snacks, with meals being served between 1230 and 5 and 6-930pm. I recommend this restaurant very highly, whether you live in the area or are just visiting.
