Advantages: Beautiful food and a lovely atmospher

Disadvantages: Slightly expensive

For the last seven years a friend and I have met once a month for dinner. We have tried many different restaurants in the Blackheath/ Lewisham area and have found one so superb that I feel compelled to tell you about it. The restaurant is situated in the heart of Blackheath village and is called "Bella Vista"
Although predominantly an Italian restaurant, the menu caters for nearly all tastes. You would be hard pressed not to find something appealing on the menu. The service is perfect (not too obtrusive, but neither are you kept waiting for too long.)
It is not particularly cheap, but for a special occasion it is well worth it. You can expect to pay approximately £30 per head for a three course meal including wine.
As the restaurant is so popular it is advisable to book if you intend to go there.
All in all it's well worth a visit.
