Advantages: Lovely, tasty food, Nice settings, Log fire
Disadvantages: bit pricey
Well the best curry I have ever, ever tasted was in Newquay. It is a little restaurant over looking towan beach, can't remember the name. We went there one November and it was lovely. The food was great and the korma was made with the good old clotted cream. They had a good selection on the menu and all the food was out of this world. It was over looking the beach and a nice log fire burning in the back ground which gave it a cosy atmosphere. As you walk in the door you are handed a menu and a drink order is taken. You sit in the lounge area drinking your drink and placing your order. When the food is on the table ready to be served you are called. This really makes a difference to the evening, especially if there are a few of you. At the end of the evening i was given a liquor to warm my cockles and a red rose which was a perfect end to a perfect evening. It was a bit pricey, but worth it. Just found out the name; THE MAHARAJAH.

- 10/08/01 Sorry for the SU, but with out the name it isn't too useful, if you do find it on the web and update I'll be happy to re-rate. |

- 10/08/01 I think the name has to be a pretty important piece of info! You could try and track it down on the web, and then get a category added... let me know if you update the op, I'll come back and re-rate. |

- 10/08/01 Might have to go to Newquay later on this year, will look out for it. Guess there aren't too many Indian restaurants overlooking the beach you mentioned. Kay |
