Advantages: Nice Food

Disadvantages: Not enough nice restaurants

I have been visiting Skegness all of my life and have been to quite a few restaurants in the area. By far my favourite place to eat in Skeggy though is the Marine Boathouse.

If you visit the Marince Boathouse after 6pm, they have a really good menu, containing some lovely main courses including Lamb Shank, Pork, Chicken Breast, Lasagne, Sausage and Mash, Scampi, Salmon (my favourite), Haddock and Steak. The prices are very reasonable and the waiting time is not too bad. The setting of the restaurant is great too because it is overlooking the focal point of Skegness, the clock tower. It's great sitting at the window watching everyone going about their business (maybe that's just me though lol)!

Another place to eat that do some very nice and cheap meaks is Wolfies. Last year, I ate a lovely roast meal in there, and the cost was ridicuously cheap.

Places to avoid include the Tower Restaurant, Wetherspoons and The Lumley.

Also, if you have a car, there are plenty more nice pubs on the outskirts of Skegness that do nice meals. If you like your fast food too, there is a McDonalds near to Skegness pier.

Summary: Go to Marine Boathouse or Wolfies
