I read a review in the Daily Mail, several Saturdays ago, about this Restaurant. Braidwood?s, winner of the 2002 Scottish Restaurant of the Year Award, is about 12 miles from my home, luckily for me. We decided to treat ourselves and try and book. The restaurant only has 24 seats, and is extremely popular, so it was about three weeks before we could get in for a weekend evening. There is nothing worse, for me as a non-smoker to be sat in a restaurant with smokers all around me. - Advantages: Inexpensive menus, plenty of choice - Disadvantages: smoking, smokers, and more smoking/smokers
