Advantages: Central, handy for shoppers and theatregoers

Disadvantages: Not great, value-for-money wise

During the day, it's a self-service café.
From 5.30 p.m. it becomes a slightly more posher, with waiter service, and a very decent menu.
They concentrate on a few dishes, which means they can concentrate on doing them well.

It's in a relaxed setting, right next to the Exchange theatre. Ideal for a pre-theatre meal, and the assumption is that you'll only be having one course or two. There's a special price two-course menu.
I opted for the potato gnocchi with cream and cheese sauce, which was very good, although both the deep fried prawns and the spicy chicken sounded delicious.
Didn't manage a dessert, but it was hard to resist the almond and pear flan.
Shame about the tea and coffee, both of which were average to not-nice.

Price = £18.00 for 2 (just one course and drinks), so a bit on the expensive side for what we got.
