      Great food, highly recommended.

I went here just after Christmas with my husband and his family. It was when we had a lot of ice and snow so there weren't many people there, but I think that is purely because of the weather as everything about our trip here was excellent.

The restaurant is located on the Welshpool road, so it's not near Shrewsburys town centre, but it is on the side of the road so incredibly easy to spot and get too. They have a large car park too. I think it used to be a pub.

The inside décor of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and as you walk in there is a bar, and staff waiting to greet you. We ordered some drinks and sat on some very comfy couches while looking at a menu.

The menu was very extensive, and being vegetarian I was worried about how much there would actually be for us, but there was loads to chose from, and it all sounded really tasty. They have a separate section on the menu for vegetarians, as well as a few specials with fish in. I eat fish, so I chose a salmon special called Tenga Tarkari. The cost of this was about £12.00, which I think is very reasonable, I would easily pay that for a main course elsewhere, and this was a special. A lot of the main courses ranged from about £5.00 - £8.00. A starter here was between £4.00 and £6.00. I didn't look at the deserts as I was too full.

When the food came out I was really pleased, it looked very appetising, and was presented beautifully. Everyone's meals looked great. Mine was beautifully cooked, the salmon fell apart and melted in the mouth and the spices were really tasty. The whole dish was lovely. No-one else had any complaints about the food either, everyone was very impressed with whatever they had ordered.

The staff here were so friendly and helpful, when we went to sit at our table from the bar, they took all our drinks for us, which I know is nothing major but I find it's the little gestures like that, which really make a difference. The staff were incredibly polite and one of our party asked what they would recommend and he recommended a couple of options from the menu, and had a great knowledge of all the dishes.

The quality of the food and staff at this restaurant were impeccable. The prices were reasonable, I actually think they could charge more, and the service was great. I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you ever drive past or are looking for somewhere to go near Shrewsbury, it's a great place.

A really great place to eat good quality Indian food. I can't wait to go back there.
