Spice Lounge is an indian restaurant located in Summertown towards the North of Oxford. It's less than a 10 minute bus ride from Oxford City Centre & is also a 5 minute walk from a pay & display car park. It's open for lunch & dinner, offering the chance to eat in or take away. Rating:

In a sentence: Good Value, Vibrant, Modern Indian. I was introduced to Spice Lounge by my husband's 100 year old grandmother! But the place on Banbury Road is modern and with no flock wallpaper in sight: brown-leather covered dining chairs, reasonably tasteful photos of India and food-related items on the walls, cube-like tables. The service was welcoming and friendly, and the food, on this and another visit, was excellent, and at reasonable prices, especially for Summertown in Oxford. The welcome plate of poppadums comes with a selection of lovely sauces, and the curries themselves are few notches above your average Indian local/take ...  Read the complete review
