Advantages: Fast, easy, cheap(ish), tasty

Having only ever gotten takeaway from Spice Lounge, this review refers exclusively to the food they offer. The menu is surprisingly varied, and the prices reasonable; on top of this, they offer free home delivery, and free popadum and chutney's. The sum of this is that I was feeling good things before I picked up the phone.

The second pleasant surprise was the delivery time; we ordered at 9.30PM on a Saturday evening and so were expecting a wait, but our food arrived within 30 minutes. Popadums were crisp, food was very hot, and everything arrived as it should; so far so good. This is normally the part of the story where things start to take a turn for the worse, but luckily, they didn't. I went for a boring lamb korma; the sauce was creamy and the lamb tender, and as far as I'm concerned, that's all I want from an Indian. For the more adventurous amongst you, my partner assures me that the more spicy dish she went for was similarly impressive.

All in all, a fast, stress free, reasonably priced, and good tasting takeaway Indian experience.
