Coffee shops are everywhere and everywhere you go they seem to be packed, not in the least Starbucks.

You can easily spot their green and yellow branding a mile off and you can place bets that it will be packed wherever you are.

I have been visiting Starbucks for over six years now and i would say they are overall very consistent with their service, presentation, quality of the products etc etc.

Staff are generally very friendly and happy to help and appear to enjoy their jobs - or at least make the effort to make you feel welcome unlike some places. In my local they now know me by name and my partner and we've become quite friendly with some of the long standing staff.

There are big cosy chairs along with the usual table and chairs you expect (the big cosy ones are usually snapped up quite quickly!), but it seems that no matter how many chairs they pack in there is never enough space for all the customers and at busy periods you may struggle to get a chair.

As for the drinks, they are usually always good quality and you can literally have it made to taste with skimmed milk, soya milk, extra shots, flavoured syrup shots, add cream - the list goes on! My usual is a skinny latte, but if i'm feeling like a trat i love their caramel macchiatos.

They change their cakes and pastries seasonally and at the moment i particularly love the cupcakes they have. I also recommend trying the cinammon swirls and the toffee waffles - delicious!
