I love Starbucks. I really really love it. I am an addict. Have been for over a year now come to think of it, although, like all good addictions, I have only become aware of it now itr is too late. Maybe I can get over this or learn to live with it because, to be frank, I don't like drinking coffee.

Now that isn't to say I don't like coffee. I do. I love it. Strong black piping hot coffee.

In fact, it is just that I don't like drinking the stuff. It stains my teeth, keeps me awake at night, is relatively expensive for a hot drink. Worst of all I imagine that it gives me bad breath - have you ever had a meeting with someone who has obviously drunk too much cooffee and whos breath stinks of it? Oh yes - it makes me need the loo too - very embarrassing if you have to leave a work meeting twice to use the loo!!

I wish I was addicted to mineral water instead.

Anyway, Starbucks has compounded my addiction. here I have found a very quiet and comfortable environment to sit and drink a nice big mug of this dreadful evil drink. Usually there are nice sofa type seats available, clean toilets, sometimes even newspapers that people have left behind. It is warm and inviting in winter. In fact I often have work meetings at a Starbucks if it is a 1-2-1 session or something not too formal.

The coffee is always good. It is served in a nice big china mug, not one of those cardboard things (although cardboard is available for takeouts)

There is a selection of nice muffins and cakes - blueberry muffins are to die for. There are also some sandwiches although these are nothing too special by comparison and some Orange juice and waters, which I never drink because of the bloody coffee being too nice!!!!!!

I think we should start a campaign to close Starbucks - it is too good for its own good and I do not have enough will power to keep out. Anyone with me??
