I have eaten in a number of Strada restaurants over the years and you could be forgiven for believing that they're all the same, but I have recently discovered that location is everything. I have always enjoyed the food in Strada but never considered it to be a great restaurant, just an average restaurant where you know exactly what you're going to get. My experience at Strada's Riverside restaurant in London has completely changed my mind. Sitting on the bank of the River Thames this Strada looks out over Tower Bridge and the views are simply breath taking. Its not often I go to nice restaurants with Italian food, so as my company took us to a meal here, I feel it is apt that I review this restaurant. Firstly the scenery is great. The station we got off from was embankment and it is a very short three minute walked from there to get to Strada. The seating is great, with outside seats with an amazing view or the traditional more internal seatings areas. The service is pretty prompt and thankfully they dont have those waiters that just crowd over you searching for a tip, although they do pass round you table once every so often just to check that everything is OK, which is what all the great serviced ...
