great staff, great food but a bit expensive

Advantages: lovely atmosphere and tasty food, especially the pizzas!
Disadvantages: hard to get a table and it's a little expensive.
Strada is always a popular choice for me when my parents come to visit me at university. It's not an especially gourmet restaurant, but it does have good food even if it is a little over priced.
The bulk of the menu at Strada relies on pizza and pasta, although there are some other dishes that involve chicken, beef, etc and come with potatoes and vegetables. The only issue with the food is that the portions are quite small and although the prices are fine, it's just a bit too much for what you actually get on your plate. What you have to remember is that a lot of the items on the menu can actually be found at other places such as pizza express, ASK, zizzi and there is nothing that special about strada either. The best way to describe the food, is great but far from unique.
The decor of strada is always well received as it's clean, comfortable and inviting. The leather finish that they have on most of their furniture makes for a really comfortable trip and doesn't leave you squirming around on a ghastly plastic chair for two hours. The staff are usually all very pleasant, and in my area it is clear that some effort has been made to employ many international team members, which adds a nice atmosphere to the restaurant.
It's worth checking online before you go to a Strada, because there is often a buy one get one free offer that you can take along, which even includes their reduced but still yummy takeaway menu. You will also want to book because it tends to fill up quickly.
All in all, a touch expensive but still a pleasant night out.
Summary: great place for people of all ages
