The Premise

Subway is a brilliant, if common idea especially from independent sandwich shops.
You get what you want in your sandwich.
It's fresh, tasty and quick. So before stepping into a pre packed sandwich shop - try here first.

What to Do
You join the queue you pick what bread you would like, herby, cheesy, Italian etc and whether you want 6" or 12" tell them what you want and your sandwich gets passed down the line through toasting (or not) salad - you pick what you want. Any sauce and pay !

Food

They have a 'sub of the day', which is a cheaper option than a normal sub. At only £1.99 for a 6 inch or £3.99 for 12". These are considerably cheaper than a normal sandwich and provide excellent value for money. These include Italian meats, Tuna etc and change daily. You can check this information on the internet or on the promotional material inside the shop.

Customer Service

In one instance my sub was slightly over toasted- I think someone forgot about it ! They offered to remake it for me (it was fine, no need to waste) and gave me a free drink for the trouble. The team are very friendly and they work as a team, which is refreshing.

They are very Americanised, work hard and have a smile for you. Excellent service. The queue moves very quickly even if there are 10-15 people in front of you.

The Good & Bad

The tuna tastes weird. Not keen on it at all. I visit often when sub of the day is not tuna! It does get busy, but they combat the queues very quickly. They also help you out if you have not been in there before as so much is going on! If you did want anything that is not on offer it can be expensive. The staff are brilliant and are often not British, but communicate well, have excellent customer service skills and look pleased to see you! It's always a good experience going in there and toasted sandwich with lots of jalapeño's rock !

Summary: Yum when it's hot !!
