Advantages: Delicious in every way

Disadvantages: you look ridiculous whilst eating it

This review is partly in view of subway as an overall sort of product, but I'm focusing particularly on my favoured subway sanwhich - the chicken pizziola. I have no idea what is in the sauce, or why it is called the chicken pizziola, but it is simply perfection in sandwhich form.
To start off with, I've noticed that there can be significant differences in quality of service, depending on the subway establishment, but I suppose this is to be expected with large chains - there are always going to be some workers who are just plain better than others. Thankfully, my nearest subway has a good crop of sandwhich makers, pretty much all of whom have the difficult art of creating a sandwhich that doesn't fall to bits down to a t.
Because lets face it, the subway sandwhiches are always FULL of tasty things - they don't go in for skimping. If you say you want lettuce, then damn are you gonna get some lettuce! The prices are pretty decent when you consider what you're getting - a good quality, filling sandwhich, which they will double in size for an extra £1.70 - plus the sib of the day is only £1.99 - thats pretty good for a really nice sandwhich (although the pizziola never seems to be sub of the day when i go in).
They have a good selection of breads, fillings and the addition of salad to pretty much any sub, alongside crisps, drinks and baked goods. Although on a slightly more negative note, I never really think that their donuts are really up to par. But anyway, down to the business of the chicken pizziola:
I always have it on Italian bread (the most simple, a soft white roll), and I normally get the six-incher - it is very rare that I am hungry enough for a foot long, but then I am a fairly small lass (my dad on the other hand, always says that he could go for about an 8-incher.. somewhere in between). I don't ever have it toasted, although I think it's a good thing that they offer this option, but its not what I want in this sandwhich! The filling of your bog-standard chicken pizziola is: chicken pieces, salami, tomato-y sauce and single cheese (about two slices of cheese). the chicken, salami and sauce is heated in the microwave, and if you want, you can elect to have the cheese melted in with that, or simply laid on top of the meat after it has cooked. You can also choose to have double the amount of cheese if you want. I normally get the cheese melted on top. Then to salad - I normally go for lettuce, cucumber, green peppers, red onions, and have the whole lot topped off by light mayonnaise. If you don't have a skilled sandwhich maker, this can easily end up as a huge mess, with not enough bread to hold it together, while you are eating as fast as possible to stop it all from dripping down your arm. Even with a skilled sandwhich maker, you still end up with a big, delicious, sloppy sandwhich.

Summary: big sloppy sandwich

I like the content of the review, but I wished you'd broken it up with para's a bit. Was hard to read it as one block. :)
