More than just a sandwich!

Subway is a fast food branch that can be found in roughly 100 countries, quite an impressive figure.
I often hear people moaning about subway, saying it's just a sandwich and that it's expensive, I have to disagree with this and feel that it's a great value meal.
There are several options dining at Subway, there is a range of breakfast subs which are available until 11am, similar to competing fast food chains and then there are a variety of other subs available throughout the day.
The process of ordering at Subway is somewhat different to other fast food places as rather than just picking a complete item, at Subway you create the item yourself step by step. I find this to be quite enjoyable and makes it more personal. I'm often found reading the ingredients of prepared items to see if it contains an item I'm not keen on, and this option at Subway avoids that which makes my meal much more enjoyable and less stressful.
Step 1 you choose your size, either 6 inch or a much larger footlong sub, then the bread type you fancy, a choice of 5, followed by which filling you would like, whether or not you would like cheese, extra cheese or none, if you would like your sub toasted or not, and then you can choose from a selection of salad which is my favourite part. Finally you can choose which sauce, if any you would like in your sub.
I particularly like the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki, however there is a range of other fillings from chicken tikka, to steak and cheese, to meatballs to veggie patty.
A great range of the subs are also low fat so make a great healthy alternative with no loss to the taste.
There are over 15 varities to choose from which I think is quite a good range and allows for enough variation should you wish to have it often.
I only have it occassionally so tend to stick to the same favourites.
The prices of the subs vary depending on if you just have it by itself or as part of a meal deal. Meal deals currently start from £3 for a 6 inch sub and £5 for a foot long, which is a great value choice as you basically get a free drink.
As well as subs there are a range of other items available from wraps to salads to sides such as nachos and toasties. If you fancy something sweet to go along with your meal there is a range of cookies, muffins and donuts available.
I would highly recommend Subway at any time of the day, the range available is versatile and extremely tasty at a great price.
Summary: A great fast food chain!
