Late night my mate and I get really hungry and this being close to where I live and always seeming open does us just fine. We like this take away/cafe and the menu is vast with so many options on it we never get bored although we have had a fair few take aways from here over the past couple of years!
Not only can you eat in, take away you can also if not too far away from the place order a delivery, you do have to pay cash and order over £15.00 worth of food but this service is free and you do get a 1.5 L of coke for nothing too!
The reason myself and my friend started to use this take away is because like I said it was open late one night but also when we went in it was clean though rather busy. I won't lie and say that the staff are overly pleasant or anything but they serve fast and are clean and polite enough.
Like I have said there is a seated area compromising of plastic chairs and tables, about 5 of these and although I haven't seen anyone ever eating in their personally I wouldn't have a problem doing so and there is no extra charge for doing so.
So whats on the menu? Loads of everything to be honest and the speciality here as far as I am concerned are the kebabs which you can buy most of in a standard or a large size. Pick from mixed kebab, lamb shish kebab, doner chicken kebab which all come in warmed pitta bread and with salad and sauce if you want it. A small doner costs just £3.60, large £4.30 the others are priced at up to around the £4.00 mark. From here I love the doner kebabs dripping in garlic mayo and although I love to tuck into a lot of food the small is more than big enough for me and you get such a lot of salad!
Also they have a pizzas in varying sizes, 9", 12" and 14" and along with vegetarian options again prices start from £4.50 up to £9.90 and options to choose from include meat feast, sea delight, special chicken in fact in total there are 13 pizzas to choose from and of course you can mix and match what you want to your own specification.
Also you can go for burgers in 1/4 to 1/2 sizes and there are ten options here and you can pick from chicken doner burger, cheese burger, even a veggie burger and these cost from £2.20 each for the 1/4 pounders up to £4.00 but thats for a super burger with a whopping three burgers in it weighing a ton!
Omelettes are available, again to take away as well as eat in with options including plain, mushroom, ham and vegetables priced from £380-£4.50 and fried chicken which can be served with chips (more like fries) or not. One piece of their delicious chicken costs £1.20, two pieces chicken and chips £3.30 a bucket of chicken (family size) is £14.99 with 12 pieces chicken, large chips, coleslaw and a large bottle coke. Chips here are £1.10 for a regular portion and a large portion £1.50.
I often have kebabs, love their home made pizzas and love their ungreasy crispy fry style chips! My mate often has the chicken but now only asks for breast as alot of the meals come with thigh or leg that really isnt her thing but I've had some of hers and it really is lovely and well cooked!
This place is open 7 days a week till midnight at least though opening times are varying and although I'm told they are open till midnight I have been here at 3am at weekends! Thumbs up for nice, clean, warm food and decent prices!
