Take Away in South Kensington

I have been coming here for over 20 years. These guys certainly know their business! When I first came to Bosphorus they did not have the huge selection they have now (various kofte, various chicken, spicy shish, saddle chops, lamb burger, different mixes etc.) but their Doner, Kofte & especially Shish were better than any other kebabs I had tasted in Central London. They are the Gold standard by which I judge other Kebabs. In recent years their Chilli Sauce has become thinner in consistency but having a Spicy Shish (marinated in a thick red glaze) is my answer. bosphorus kebabs ,59, old brompton road! been comming to this place almost every day since i moved into the area.. It is a small place but has something for everyone.. even if you are a vegetarian. My personal favourites are lamb saddle steak. (never thought meat could tatse this good) chicken leg fillet. (just so so juicy).. and large mix grill.. for when i'm feeling particularly hungry.. and i normally start off with one of there many vegetarian based starters.
