Fills a much needed void (Tamatanga)

Advantages: Price, speed, food Disadvantages: Stools a little hard Stumbled in to this place in an attempt to escape the drizzle recently and pleasantly surprised. Food was very good, Butter Chicken on their specials menu very nice as was the paneer kebabs we had on the side. The food sort of comes out whenever it's ready, which in our case was onion bhaji, curries, naan, paneer kebab. Worked nicely actually as we always had something to be munching on. I think the best thing about this place has got to be its price and speed. We were after a really quick chilled out meal before making a cinema showing and managed to finish our meal including a coffee within an hour. The service is very attentive and the food comes out with surprising speed. Prices are great as they include rice or naan already so you don't need t add anything else if you don't want to. All in all, highly recommended and we'll definitely be back before long. Makes a refreshing alternative to the usual Cornerhouse haunts and certainly fills a void that other indian restaurants can't currently offer. Summary: Great place, will be back |
