“ Address: 5 Raglan Street / Harrogate / HG1 1LE / North Yorkshire / England „
The Tannin Level is one of Harrogate's top restaurants. It is based in the centre of Harrogate and sells English food. It is based in an underground floor, which is actually a converted cellar, but has a really nice atmosphere. It is good for couples, families, friends and people of all ages. The food is really good quality, all freshly made, at a slightly higher price than most Harrogate restaurants but well worth it. They are open Monday - Saturday12-2 for lunch, and 5:30 - 9:00, apart from Friday and Saturday when they serve until 9:30pm. They have a lunch menu, an early birds and A La Carte. For lunch they do simple dishes such as soup, sandwiches, salads, burgers, and paninis. The early birds has a great choice too, its £12.50 for two course and £16.00 for 3 courses. For the A La Carte they serve starters such as soup, prawns, salad, risotto, mussels and salmon. For the mains they serve a selection of fish, steak, fish pie, pork, duck and other meats including a range of specials. For desert they have crumble, ice creams, sorbets, brulee and sundaes. All the food is delicious, really good quality. It is simply done, never over cooked. The presentation is great too, I have never had a bad meal here. They have a great selection of wines, all tasted before bought. The service is excellent too, the staff are friendly and the service is quick. It is my favourite restaurant and other restaurants will find it difficult to beat this one. Also try their sister establishment - The Tiger Inn.
